Tony Quimbel began learning music at the age of 8, at Ecole Jean Jaures in Dunkirk, and then at Le Ravel School of Dunkirk (1974/1979) – The Albert Creton Jazz School (1 year) Dunkerque (1978) then learning the lithurgical organ.
In 1976, after a concert by the German composer of synthetic music “Klaus Shulze”, it is the revelation, and the fascination for a world of new, synthetic and powerful sound colors, that allow the travels in new worlds of endless sonorities . He integrates a Pop / Rock music training with the group “Fax Ignis” and starts the composition on electronic organ, mellotron and Korg 800 DV synthesizer.
In 1985 Tony Quimbel began composing on the first MIDI Systems, computer-assisted music (MAO) programming on ATARI st, ATARI Falcon 30 and MPC 60 Akai. He integrates several recording studios (ADAC Dunkirk, Studio des Mouchettes and Riviera Sound Studio in Nice, Studio Platform in Sète). In 1993, he created his professional training center for sound professions in Nice, équipped with an all-digital recording studio (Synthèse Studio) and became a trainer on Steinberg systems for intermittent PACA and Parisians, as well as for Radio Monte Carlo.
